I decided to give thetail a bit more shape by cutting and taping sections into a curve.

When I first stared this, I was doing the bondo-ing in my garage, but after a couple weeks of constant fumes in my (attached) house, I moved to an outside space covered with tarps against the last rains of winter.

I made rough feet out of clay that was then covered with more bondo. This also sealed up the ends of the legs so I could later fill them with a solid plug of plaster.
