SEEKING PHOTOS OR VIDEO OF "THE END" ARTWORK & MANDOLIN SERENADER
Long-time Burning Man artist and all-around good guy Bob "Wizzard"
Marzewski wants some pics of his art installation this year. That was
the giant "THE END" sculpture out at the trash fence. He requests:
"If you took photos/video of THE END, I'd love to post them on my site
and give you a credit line and/or link to your site. I'd especially
like photos of while we were building since I took so few. (The higher
rez the better!)
I'd also love to get in contact with the woman who sang and played the
mandolin like an angel for my friend and I by THE END as the sky faded
to black one night. She was planning on releasing a CD of her music
that I'd really like to get.
Reach me at wizzard@wizzard.com on either topic."

I'm enclosing pics that were takenof THE END, as requested in the latest JRS,by myself, along with other members of our Village. These pics were taken during the week after it's completion! My compliments.....this was my 10th year at BM and I think your installation was one of the all time best "Deep Playa" art works I've ever seen! Our Mutant Vehicle, theUSS Nevada, enables us to see most of the Deep Playa installations.....so.....The "Pirates Of The Playa" salute you.....!
Thanks again for all your hard work!

Photo by James Allen Foerster Hi Bob "Wizzard",
I read in Jack Rabbit Speaks that you would like any images and video shot of your THE END art work; I have some that I would be happy to share with you.
On Wed. I decided to go out to the north most apex of the pentagon perimeter surrounding the Burning Man area. It was a very hot day and by the time I biked out there on the soft soil on the playa, I was exhausted. I was happy to find your art work out there and I shot a few pictures of it. As I was shooting, an art car drove up with music blaring and a bunch of people jumped off and ran up to your art. As if on que they started to line up along the front of THE END with their hands against the wall and their butts up in the air! It was a line-up of ends at THE END -- quite a scene! I shot numerous still images and a couple of videos. I have attached one of the images to this message. I have more of them on my web site in a slide show in my image gallery; please take a look:

Please let me know if you like them, and we can work out the details of how I should send them to you for use on your web site.
Sincerely,
Jim
