Drove the family station wagon towing a huge travel trailer. On board with me are my parents, Dad's mother, my twin younger brothers and older sister.

One or two days out from home in the hills of Missouri, my mom, while driving this big rig, lost control and suddenly the trailer was on it's side-but still attached to the station wagon ball hitch, lifting the rear of the car into the air and sending my dad scrambling from the extreme rear of the wagon (napping from driving all night) over us and the seats toward the wheel as if regaining control was still possible. At the same time, the trailer replaced the car as the object sliding foremost down the hill.

Eventually the friction of the road wearing away all projections from one side of the trailer brought us to rest, all safe if somewhat shaken.
