Granite Stairways
Given to Gus Guppy (really!) when leaving Sterling in appreciation for the use of his time and truck. Had a neat motorized carnival ride at the top level.

Macrame Memories
Not knowing quite what to do with a bunch of odds and ends I collected in my travels, I tied up a bunch of macrame yarn my mom gave me and incorporated the strange collection in random fashion. It hung in my Sterling kitchen. It survived a couple moves but was reborn in a more compact form which is hanging in my living room now.

A fellow inmate of the Sterling house. He had free rein of the house, but was better at training me than I was of him. Given to a better bird owner.

I always think of this as a mousetrap after the great toy of the same name, but it is more of a roller coaster for 3/4" steel balls. A motor drives a loop of bicycle chain to lift the balls which then roll down one of 7 different paths-determined by the positions of several mechanical switches.

Balloon
A wire frame hot air balloon and one of many syrofoam lights that lit the house. Also, a couple drawings are visible on the walls.

Copper bike
A mostly copper high wheeler bicycle. Mostly inspired by the series "The Prisoner"
